What is Girl Scouts?

Girl Scouts is the preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls all girls where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives - like strong values, social conscience and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

About Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts offers a variety of experiences and adventures to help a girl develop values to guide her actions and to provide the foundation for sound decision-making 

Girl Scout Age Levels
The Girl Scout program is offered to girl members through various activities at five different age levels. They are:

Daisy Girl Scouts are in grades K-1 or are between 5 and 6 years of age. 
Brownie Girl Scouts are in grades 1-3 or are between 6-8 years old.
Junior Girl Scouts are in grades 3-6 or are between the ages of 8-11.
Cadette Girl Scouts are in grades 6-9 or are between 11-14 years or age. 
Senior Girl Scouts are in grades 9-12 or are between 14-17 years old.
